Rescheduled from the postponed October 21st date the year prior. I was originally
not planning on attending this show, but with the reschedule came a bunch of GA floor
seats available on ticketmaster. So, it was hard to say no. The show was great and
the performance was over the top. However, the Foos seem to have taken a step back
with their setlists. Last October in Cincinnati they played "Let It Die", "I'll Stick
Around", "White Limo", "Arlandria", "Skin And Bones" and a new one from C&G "Make It
Right". They were also alternating other tracks in such as "Enough Space", "Arrows" &
"Something From Nothing". When you look at the May 2018 setlists, none of these
original songs were replaced with other original Foo songs. They were replaced with
covers and longer stage banter from Dave. Very disappointing. "Imagine/Jump" and
"Under Pressure" were very fun to see, but I wish they would cut the unnecessary
long jams on songs like "The Pretender", "Rope" and "Best Of You". There is
absolutely no reason these songs need to be twice their original length. These
are just my opinions, but having been seeing this band for 20 years, I wanted to
get them off my chest. It was still a great show. Regarding the recording, I did
have a Ms. Clappy McClapperson to my left, so I did my best in post removing her
when I could. Thank god for the automatic click remover plugin in Adobe Audition!
It has been doing the Lord's work on these 24bit wave files. Turn this one up!!!

The Struts opened. [recorded]
