Show notes:
Jim thinks this performance was better than the 2002 performance that was shared recently because it was somewhat funnier and less vulgar/violent. After listening to both shows, I readily agree with his assessment. Of course, the 2002 show had better sound quality (since it was an ALD-soundboard recording)...but despite this being "only" an AUD recording, Jim mentioned that it was recorded fairly close to the stage. As a result, the sound quality is actually very good. If you check the samples I've provided, I'm sure you'll agree.

Additional editing notes:
* Track 11 is incomplete because Jim's tape ran out
* The volume at the beginning of the show needed to be increased to better match the remainder of the show; as such, Track 1 was increased 4 dB (0:00-0:06) and 8 dB (0:15-1:13)
* Deleted very audible coughs in Track 5 (one nearly 3 minutes into the track and the other roughly 6 1/2 minutes into the track)--these coughs occurred in spots where George wasn't speaking, so nothing else was lost. Also deleted a half-second of mic rumbling roughly 8 seconds into Track 6
* Faded out applause in Track 5 and faded back in on Track 6 (using Nero)
* Re-tracked show by combining in Nero, splitting with CD Wave; as you can imagine, this isn't an easy task for a comedy act like Carlin...I tried to separate the show by main topics discussed (also, the track names are made up to fit the material)

If you decide to download this show, won't you please consider posting a comment on the show's board? It only takes a moment, and believe me, it takes A LOT longer to prepare/upload a show for others to enjoy than it does to download and run.

And won't you please consider thanking Jim for this mighty fine show?
