Met the taper at this show & received this in a trade 2 weeks later. I was using a Radio Shack unit at the time & this recording came out better than my master did. Everyone started tailgating in the morning. Tons of beer can pyramids & bottle sculptures all over the ground. Grills blazing, metal cranked from every corner. Was a fantastic incredible day. Opening band was Waysted. Stage was a futuristic set up like something out of a Tom Baker era Doctor Who episode. Show was great of course! After the show there was a bit of a riot. State troopers came in to start ticketing people with open bottles (parking lot was jammed so you could'nt leave for a while). Some people gathered & started throwing bottles at the troopers & their police cars. One car even got overturned & set on fire only a few rows away from us. Made it out in one piece. Twenty years later finally transferring the better copy down to post on DIME.
