California-born but now Manchester based songtress, Jesca Hoop has been playing today at the Thames Festival. It was a free event- but not listed on her website or Facebook by some reason... I made it to the Tate Modern just in time to ask her if I can do taping and filming- had a nice chat and after that I was all set to go! This time she's done a solo set, short but sweet.

I taped from the first row, directly from the right side speakers and I think the quality is excellent. There were a few loud passages in `Win Your Love` which caused some interference with the mics but apart from that, it is a highly enjoyable show. At the same time I was filming as well (turned out to be a solid A) and the DVD will appear at some point, I don't know when. The BBC was out there, I asked the staff but they haven't filmed Jesca's set.
(I think this is one of the rare occasion when a recording hits Dime on the same day it was recorded:)

Sample in the first comment.

Enjoy!
