Third times the charm. I have had tickets 2 other times to see Jimmie at the Kessler and both times something came up and I missed the show.
The Kessler being in Oak Cliff this is a homecoming show for Jimmie. It was a great show with his playing being tight and economical. I remember
Stevie once saying "Jimmie knows all the same tricks I know he just doesn't feel like he has to use them". I can see that in his playing, he
does everything necessary but doesn't play extra notes just because he can. The show features quite a few songs from the latest CD with Mike Flannigan
on the B3. I got a copy of the setlist after the show and it has a lot more songs on it than what they played so I guess they just pick off the list
and go with what feels right for the night. The only song I wasn't sure is track 23 which is an instrumental. They are 6 songs listed in the spot on the setlist.
I chose what I thought it was. If anyone knows better please let me know.

Enjoy!
