Notes: A very, very nice FM recording from WPLR from the summer of 1988. After being broadcast a few weeks before in Cambridge, Mass., we find the guys on the radio again in New Haven. I think the band/managment viewed these shows in college towns as a way to get the band some attention as "Vivid" came out. This is a really great recording, fantastic separation of Will's drums here. If there is a "problem" with the mix it is that it is almost too clean, the crowd mixed way down. A great show by the band, tearing through material on "Vivid" as well as some Clash and Tracy Chapman. Pretty tight setlist just over an hour, this is a good one for your commute! By the way, LC is still very active, on tour in Europe as of this writing and recording a new album.
