Really nice DAT recording from the Fall 1997 tour. There are a couple flaws, namely two brief dropouts during "Down" and "Boyfriends & Girlfriends" (at 0:54) and, unfortunately, a big skip in Drag (6:21) that cuts out about 10-15 seconds of music. But otherwise it's great, and the audience is mostly quiet and attentive.

There are some funny alternate lyrics on "Over The Ocean" which made me chuckle. Make sure to turn off your subwoofers before listening to this one, as there's loads of bass (which pegs the recorder in a few places, especially on Landlord).

If I remember correctly, I got this on CDR as one long track, and made a fresh copy of the CD with the tracks indexed individually; what happened to the original, I don't know. I could be completely wrong, though.

These files were uploaded to LMA by Goldenband a couple of weeks ago, see http://www.archive.org/details/Low1997-11-03.flac16
I downloaded the files from there, somehow shortly after that the files have become unreachable. I assume this is because there were spaces in the filenames. I've ran into this problem myself before, had to delete those files and reupload them again with the files named according to the etree naming standards.
Someone asked me to upload this set here, so that's what I'm doing. These are the differences with the original files:
- The spaces are trimmed out of the filenames. This was not done by myself, but probably during the uploading procedure to the LMA.
- The files I downloaded were tagged incorrectly, the titles were in the track numbers. So I fixed that with Mp3Tag.
- Track 5 (Boyfriends & Girlfriends) had to be reencoded. The original flac file was not decodable to wav with Trader's Little Helper, and when the ffp was verified it gave the error message "checksum in file header does match, but checksum of audio data does not match" (this error is explained at http://www.thetradersden.org/forums/showpost.php?p=817970&postcount=536). But it could be played with Winamp. I opened it with Audacity, saved it as a wav-file, then encoded it back to flac level 6 with TLC.
- Since this new file won't match with the original ffp fingerprints, I created new checksums. If you compare the files with the ffp file that can still be downloaded from the LMA page, you'll see that all files but track 5 will still match.
