Additional comments from Jeroen van Tol's ON EVERY BOOTLEG fan site:

"Great sounding recording from a very rare charity concert. Mark Knopfler, Guy Fletcher, Glenn Worf and Richard Bennett performed an intimate and "acoustic" concert (at least no drummer) for a sold out crowd at Boothbay Harbor's Opera House. All proceeds from this sell-out concert are to be be used to benefit The Opera House Challenge, a fundraising effort with a goal of $500.000 and an approaching deadline of 30th September 2006. Apart from the fact that this was a unique charity concert, it also features various songs that Mark never performed live before. Mark's voice and guitar sound a bit louder than usual and with the sound being fantastic, it must be an In Ear Monitor recording. On this recording, you can hear exactly what Mark hears when he's on stage. It's a soundboard recording, but it isn't from the "Front-of-house" soundboard, but from the "Stage Monitor" soundboard. Since these signals are separate monitor board mixes sent via a wireless frequency to the receiver pack that each musician wears, anyone with a wireless multi-channel receiver can record it as long as they know the frequency. And that's what probably happened during this show. A really special recording, complete concert."
