Mich Harvey doesn't need an introduction, the fact that he was opening for a band called "The Ministry of Wolves" might need an explanation.
It was No 14 of Paul Wallfisch's "Small Beast" shows, a concept he braught from the Delany when he took the job as musical director of the Schauspielhaus Dortmund - a series of concerts with very divers but always a little of the beaten track musicians.
This time it was "The Ministry of Wolves" project of a musical adaption of the fairy tales of the Grimm Brothers, composed and played live on stage and now on tour by Mick Harvey, Alexander Hacke, Danielle de Picciotto and Paul Wallfisch.

Mick Harvey's set was great, the first songs taken from the "Book of the Dead" album, 2 (the PJ harvey cover and "Praise The Earth" from the recent FOUR (Acts of Love), all solo with guitar, the drums came later on with the band.

The Kampnagel KMH has good acoustics, about 150 (partly seated) spectators, recorded 8 meters from stage above the last row of seated people, a very quiet audience - the recording turned out nice.
Lowered a couple of spikes, raised the overall levels by 1,5 dB and a few of the more quiet songs by 0,5 - 1 dB, manual hard limiter to close applause.
