DO NOT SELL - FOR TRADING/SHARING ONLY

Morphine: Mark Sandman, Dana Colley, Billy Conway

As of February 2009, this was an uncirculated recording.

This show was one of just a few dates around the New England/East Coast area in November 1996. The set showcases several songs from the "Like Swimming" CD, which was still 3-4 months away from its release date. These songs were mostly unknown at the time, but the live versions certainly made me look forward to the CD. In fact, because of this show, to this day I still prefer the more intense, haunting live version of "Empty Box" over the studio release. "Fur Bikini" and "In Spite Of Me" are a couple other surprises, too, as those songs (especially the former) didn't get played live too often. Occasionally you'll hear a woman losing her voice while yelling for "You Like You Rain" - it doesn't really detract from the recording, as it's between songs. In fact, it's kind of funny after a while. I wonder if she ever got her voice back. She never got to hear the song, either.
