note: I went to the 2 Brussels shows with very low expections not having heard a single -decent- song on any of the Grinderman's output. By the 2nd night I finally understood the concept of Grinderman: skip the songs, let's just make some fucking noise! Simple as that. And that's just what the concerts were: loud, sexy, hilarious and lot's of cartoon violence. The Birthday Party's "Junkyard" album all over again. I can live with that. Highly entertaining and visually attractive as well, but the weakest Nick Cave gigs I've seen in 25 years.
