So I caught Nick twice nearly back to back this week. He played one show in Portland than the next 2 nights in Seattle. I caught the 1st and 3rd of these shows. This is the recording of the 3rd show, and is the better sounding of the two recordings. The Portland show however is really funny as it is Nick's birthday and he is pretty animated. THis show surprised me on how well the sound was this night at the Sodo. THis place doesnt have a strong history with sound. When Nick sings "and I turned down the the radio" and starts getting really quiet, i was blown away by an actually respectful quiet seattle crowd. Well there are never enough Cave recordings out there, so please enjoy! This band is force to be reconned with, and must be viewed in person to really gather the true essence. Nick and his band(s) are legendary, and lets hope history takes note... Enjoy! -Basshead
