Nick + the Bad Seeds back to their very best for a brief year end tour of the UK. Way better than the Dig Lazarus tour earlier in the year IMHO. Very
relaxed with the crowd and loads of banter.
One minor gripe though - I've still not taken to him wearing a guitar... get back to that piano and act your age man!

Recording wise, this isn't the greatest venue for acoustics, but I think I've managed to get the best out of the master by using a small bit of EQ during transfer.
Faded in / out to suit the disc spread as above, also faded in/out at 80 min MD change.
Most Edinburgh people don't like this as a venue because of its bad sound and dull layout - but I have to say its fine by me.
Point of note for anoraks - this was recorded using the same mic used to record the Birthday Party at the Edinburgh Nite Club in 1981...
The overall sound quality is not quite perfect, but certainly VERY listenable - check samples on the thread.
