Notes: I feel very fortunate to have this recording. This show was to be my wife’s first time seeing Nick with the Bad Seeds and since I got us pit tickets I decided I wasn’t going to tape. I knew I had one friend with CCM4’s in the first 10 rows of the floor and figured everything would be good. My friend ended up and had a major taping malfunction, but luckily Ed was also there and his recording came out quite good. He sent me the raw recording the day after the show and has generously agreed to let me post it here.

This show was beyond great. The Shrine is a bigger venue with a capacity of 6300 and the sound is normally terrible. For this sold out show there 2 hanging stacks on each side of the floor instead of just 1, and even the sound in the pit was good. Nick has been spending the majority of the shows on this tour in the crowd and to be up close was amazing, intense, and scary at the same time. This show was also the only one I saw on this run with 5 songs in the encore.

If you have the opportunity to catch one of the remaining shows on the east coast, do not hesitate.
