I have no words to describe the experience that it was…
When these 4 events were first announced, many people felt that a 90 min QnA (as our tickets clearly indicated) was a little odd and a little pricey - instead, we were treated to a 3-hour special event with a steadily growing setlist (15 songs that particular night!) and in-depth conversations with questions and answers varying far and wide. I recognize that Nick (and possibly some of the audience members pouring their souls out or asking some frankly embarrassing shit) did not intend the conversation to leave the walls of that concert hall. So I am releasing SONGS ONLY - in all their incredible beauty - and leave QnA behind.
Now, one of my mics was sporadically acting up, and I instead duplicated the track from a healthy mic - not like you get a whole lot of stereo from Nick solo at the piano even if captured by both mics 3 inches apart :) Thanks to ZH for bringing up the volume here and - well - I did the usual clean-up to take audience noise under control. But as one would expect with those acoustic sets - the audience response in between songs is quite energetic!! During the songs though - you can hear a pin drop (and I removed pins where appropriate lol!)
Enjoy! And please do yourselves a favor and catch this guy wherever you can. There is only one out there, noone quite like him!
