This is the second show of Nikki's final tour. Less than a month after
this was recorded he was dead.

The Knitting Factory has several perfmance spaces. The Tap Bar
is one flight down and is below the main performance space. You
can hear some bleed through from the concert that was going on upstairs.
The Tap Bar has a stage with a lousy PA system and there's bar at the
back. Sometimes the charge admission for shows there, but this one
was free. That means that people who wanted to go hang out at a cool
venue and have some music playing in the background could come to the
Knitting Factory and talk to their friends. And that's just what you
get here. Lot's of background audience chatter from a bunch of people
who had no idea what they were hearing, and couldn't care less.

Nikki plays acoustic guitar throughout, and is accompanied by his drummer
Danny Hole. This is the second of the five shows he did in NYC on this
tour and it's the only one with this particular instrumental configuration.
