Notes: A decent sounding audience recording. This seems to be a new source! It's pretty hissy and has a rather loud crowd. Tracking the recording was a bit difficult due to how loud the hiss and crowd was, so my apologies if it's slightly off. The recording lacks dynamic range overall, but that can usually be expected from camera audio. Some occasional clicks and pops may be heard due to tracking errors which accumulate over the generations of tape; I did not apply any click removal. As far as I know, this is a complete recording, or if it isn't, it may just be missing some of the concert intro.

Trent shouts to "turn up the fucking monitor" during "Head Like A Hole". Amusing stuff.

I used a high end VCR to capture the HiFi audio track. I'd capture the video too, but my external time base corrector doesn't like the NTSC signal output from my PAL VCR (which does play NTSC without a problem otherwise) and strips the color from the signal, so I need to wait until I buy an actual NTSC S-VHS VCR before I can properly transfer the video. Until then, enjoy this audio!

This VHS tape arrived jammed and a small amount of the beginning of the tape was crinkled from the first attempt to play the tape. I disassembled the VHS tape to remove whatever bits may have been causing the problem. Luckily, none of this recording was affected by the small section of crinkled tape.

An unknown generation copy of 1989-12-09 Newark is the first recording on this VHS, but has worse quality audio than the second generation tape already available here: http://ninlive.com/shows/1989/19891209.html

This recording is considered Source 1 on the "Reflecting In The Chrome" Nine Inch Nails live recording archive: http://ninlive.com/shows/1990/19900703.html
