Hi all
I bought this ticket months ago and wasn’t in the best of shapes physically when the show approached. But it seems that so few of Peter’s shows have been taped lately - that I felt compelled to catch this no matter what. I am very happy I did - very nice intimate show of the ‘stripped’ tour. Now, this show sold out so quickly that a few weeks later - they announced a second ‘late’ show (so this one became ‘early’) which, I think, made each a bit shorter - unfortunately.
The sound was not ‘phenomenal’ but I think solid and the crowd was well behaved - noise is limited to in-between songs and chats :) Those chats, by the way, when close to a minute or more - I tracked separately - hope it’s alright with everyone. I also left IN a fairly long intro and outro - just to include the announcer for completeness sake :-)
One more thing: whatever is listed for this early show in setlst.fm is WRONG (http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/peter-murphy/2016/city-winery-new-york-ny-33fbd889.html ) - missing at least 3 songs - if you want to correct it - please do - I don’t have an account with them :-)
