An ACIDJACK master recording (acidjack@acidjack.com)

DPA 4061 (Coresound HEB)>Coresound Battery Box (bass rolloff filter ON)>R-09HR>Audacity (adjust levels, tracking)>FLAC

It is my privilege to bring you a very special ACIDJACK master recording from last night's show at Irving Plaza in New York City. This was a stellar performance by PJ with John Parish, and it focused on a lot of that material, including the new album.

This was a challenging show for me, as I arrived later than I would have liked and did not get an ideal spot - I was further back from the left PA stack than I would if I had been given more time to position. And of course, when you have anything but an ideal spot in New York, you are treated to the inane banter and jackass behavior of New York audiences. But not to sound bitter.... I have worked hard on this recording to minimize crowd noise in between songs, and fortunately, the crowd was mostly respectful during the show. I have separated especially long segments of crowd banter into separate tracks so you can skip to the good stuff, and have decreased the volume of the crowd as well.

A special thanks goes out to Vikas for the loaner of the stellar DPA 4061 microphones, as post-manufactured by Coresound. These little wonders are worth the money!
