WARNING: in italian radio customes the DJ speaks a lot in-between songs. And I mean a lot.. His/Her purpose is to introduce songs with bits of bio and translate what the artists say, or to describe to radio listeners what's happening on stage. It may gets VERY annoying, and trust me it does, thus we might consider this recording ONLY FOR COMPLETISTS. But the songs, the actual music, are (usually) not spoken over in the middle of them. It has to be noted that italian djs are on the whole adviced to talk that much by the same record companies to prevent bootlegging. Please check samples before downloading as this recording is not of my usual quality, due to this soundcard not capable of handling high SPL.

La serata e presentata da Gerardo Panno. Radio2 Live propone un esclusivo speciale con due artiste che rappresentano diverse generazioni e indirizzi stilistici della musica inglese: la rockeuse PJ Harvey, che si e esibita al popolare festival di Roskilde (Danimarca), e la nuova stella del folk Laura Marling, di scena al festival Les Inrocks di Tolosa (Francia). I concerti sono stati registrati e offerti alle radio pubbliche del circuito EBU-Eurosonic rispettivamente dall'emittente nazionale danese DR e dall'emittente nazionale francese Le Mouv.
Polly Jean "PJ" Harvey, 42 anni, e una autentica icona del rock inglese. Con il suo stile e il suo talento ha segnato gli anni '90 (l'esordio รจ del 1992 con "Dry") e continua ancora oggi a raccogliere allori con un ultimo album capolavoro come "Let England Shake", uscito nel 2011. Dal vivo, la carica e il carisma di Polly sono leggendari per milioni di fan di tutto il mondo.
