stereo version taper 1

History: In February I had the pleasure of trading some Queensryche shows I recorded with Michael Wilton for backstage passes to the show of my choice...this one. I then entered a contest to sing with the band, which I won! :D This gave me two more passes and tickets. So I contacted a buddy of mine on the pinkroioshn hub on DC++ and offered him a pass if he'd come tape me at the show. So off we went.
I sang with Queensryche, the high point of my life up to then. The next day I got a PM on Dime from MdrnDayWar who also taped the show. Wow. 1500 people and there were 2 audio and 2 video tapers there.

Technical details: This tape was recorded from right in front of the soundboard. (I've not yet been provided with specific lineage for this from the taper, but its a direct to DAT>wav@44.1 using Cool Edit Pro>CD-R). I will call this taper 1.
This has only a slight EQ done to brighten the highs and remove some annoying low mids. The EQ adjustments are very slight. Done with Adobe Audition. Flac converwsion done with Easy CD-DA Extractor to level 5

Someone Else was performed here for the first time since the 95 Promised Land tour. Red Rain was a last minute change in the set. The setlist on the floor listed Walk In The Shadows at that point, but Geoff had a bit of a cold and didn't want to risk singing it badly, so Red Rain was played instead.
Enjoy!

As with nearly everything I post, do not sell, but feel welcome to convert anything I post to any format you like, lossy or otherwise, and feel free to share/trade it that way. Spread the music as much as possible, in any format possible. Music should be free and for everyone to enjoy as they see fit. If a person is completely satisfied with an Mp3 or other lossy format, then they should be allowed to get it that way. All music should exist in all available formats, be it lossless, lossy, phone files or whatever. The more formats there are available the more people will be exposed to the variety of music out there, and that's a good thing no matter how you slice it. In this case I have nothing against someone making a DTS or Dolby Digital version of this. Just make sure everyone knows what they're getting.
