SOURCE / LINEAGE

Stereo AUD trade tape

Trade tape > Computer WAV > CDR > EAC v0.99 > TLH v2.4.1 > FLAC 8 > DIME > you
Big thanks to the original taper, and to the trader who hooked me up with a copy.
I originally mastered this 2002-07-26 but no longer have the original WAVs.

This source came from the 2002 final mastered CDR, extracted via EAC / reports included.
I think the only thing I did on the computer was place track marks before each piece.
This FLAC fileset comes from the EAC extracts, which did not need SBE corrections.

NOTES

I bought a copy of this tape off of Zorch Enterprises (Chicago) back in 1984 or so.
It was one of a half dozen Snakefinger shows from him that I later found were then-uncommon on the trading circuit in the '90s.
(I keep finding more of these, so maybe it was a dozen.)

Snakefinger typically named his band & would often change it up from night to night.
For this show he calls them "the Illusion Smashers".

It's stereo & it's a bit hissy. But it's Snakefinger, so you say yes thank you may I have another.
Sounds like they had an auto accident on the way from NY earlier in the day, happy to be alive & playing gigs.
Apart from a false start, it a kick-ass show.

Crank it up and ENJOY! it as I have, and share it so others can hear it.

Filenames have numbers on the end that are the TIMES (ex. - "...-359" is 3min59sec long).
One filename has "QM" in the name, as a question mark isn't allowed in names.

I mark the start of tracks when the music or count-in begins, not the talking about it before it starts.
