Stereo AUD trade tape

Big thanks to the original taper, and to the trader who hooked me up with a copy.
I originally mastered this 2009-08-07.
This FLAC fileset comes from WAVs from this dub, which only needed SBE corrections in TLH; no CD-Rs or EACs.

NOTES

Snakefinger typically named his band & would often change it up from night to night.
For this show (& this whole tour) he calls them "the Vestal Virgins".

The band intros are cut off for a tape flip.

I bought a copy of this off a guy at a record fair in the Chicago suburbs.
It's a cheap type I tape, and I went through a lotta crap to get this show off of it for you & me to hear.
MF'in' tape kept stopping when playing side two; this after doing (as I always do) a forward-to-the-end and rewind-to-the-beginning before a dub.
Couldn't figure out why, until I sat & watched the spools - the take-up spool would pause, causing the tape to jam up in the head area (ugh).
I did another 4 forward/rewind things, got further in but it would not play nice for Climbing The Ladder.
Farted around with it enough times to get one more play of that last song & stitched the dub segments together for this.
There's at least one dropout-like spot during that last song, where the tape actually munched a bit (UGH!).
Oh well, thankfully I'll never have to do that tape again; long live digital retention!!

It's really a muddy sounding tape; but it's Snakefinger, so you enjoy that gulp of cool water while workin' the chain gang line.
It also sounds like it could use serious az adj (mostly out but occasionally in); it's that way on the source.
Too bad it's on the cheaper type I tape, maybe the real source was better & it lost a bunch on the main dub (sigh).
if someone's got a better version, please up it - even I'd queue up for that one.

There's two edits on the source: the aforementioned tape flip, and SOME crowd editing during the clapping b4 the encore.
Yeah, you could hack out more clapping at that latter point, but Snakey has the mic with him backstage & says some funny stuff.

Putting aside the sound & all of my headaches with the tape, it's a great show.

Crank it up and ENJOY! it as I have, and share it so others can hear it.

Filenames have numbers on the end that are the TIMES (ex. - "...-359" is 3min59sec long).
Filenames for guessed titles have "(QMEXQM)" in the name, as "?!?" isn't allowed in names.
Two filenames have "QM" in the name, as a question mark isn't allowed in names.
One filename has "CO" in the name, as a colon isn't allowed in names.

I mark the start of tracks when the music or count-in begins, not the talking about it before it starts.
