~~~RIP Chris Cornell: we don't mourn you because we knew you, we mourn you because you helped us know ourselves~~~
Mastering Notes:
Tape flip during the applause after "All Your Lies". Seamlessly spiced, no music lost.
The recorder was shut off 10 seconds into the encore break, and then restarted. Some applause was lost.
Show Notes:
The lineup was Corrosion Of Conformity, Soundgarden, & Danzig.
Not much to say here. I obtained this unknown mic/recorder recording from Tom F in MN. He was also a taper, so I'd venture to say that he obtained a 1g in a trade with a local taper he knew , which was the source for this fine sounding 2nd gen transfer.
That said, what we have here is a very nice/minimal-hiss *uncirculated* Soundgarden capture for your listening pleasure.
A nice balance to all the instruments, nothing is distorted, and Chris is in fine form from the opening track on...just listen to them go!!!
This may be the last true 'vault' tape I have of Soundgarden. Next will be to go thru the CDs.
He must think of me as Captain Noisepatch (GET IT?) at this point...his name is Dennis, and by gum he deserves your thanks and praise. He spends a LOT of time working this stuff up and ready for the masses. It's the least you could do.
Save all the sourshorts poopypants crappychaps material for my side of the fenced bridge.
Trip trap...trip trap...what's coming next?
Stay tooooooooooooned!!!
