This is a mix of source A and B below.
EQ'd, channels balanced, and resampled from 96/24 down to 44/16
My favorite performances of the King Animal songs.
Some talking and noise, but nothing distracting.
Great show, recording and performance.

enjoy!

Notes - Source A:
Taper: JC
Location: GA, ~25 feet from stage on floor, ~5 feet right of center

Lineage: CA-11 > SPSB-8 (bass roll-off @ 69hz) > Edirol R-09HR > WAV (96kHz/24bit) > CDWave > TLH > FLAC

Edits: Audible adjusting of the rec level at beginning of first song and I cut out most of the encore break when the band was off stage with a fade out/fade in....everything else is there.

Notes: My buddy was unable to go at the last minute so I ended up driving solo from Tulsa to Dallas. The recording turned out better than I expected considering the talking going on around me, how hot it was in my Soundgarden "Superunknown" Denim Jacket to hold/hide my gear, and having to stand an additional hour as the band was an hour late taking the stage @ 9pm. It was quite a challenge to stand for 3 hours straight due to the metal hardware in my lower back...but for Soundgarden it was worth it. There were a few songs I wish they had played but overall I was very pleased with the show. Kim's guitar seemed kinda low in the mix but could have been a result of where I was standing.

Notes - Source B:

Taper: Lou
Location: General admission, floor, ~ 50 feet from stage, left-center

Lineage: SP-CMC-2 (AT831's with low sensitivity mod) > SP-SPSB-11 (no bass roll off) > Edirol R-09 > WAV 24/48 > CDWave > Trader's Little Helper > FLAC(level 8)

Took a last minute trip from my hometown of Philadelphia, PA to catch the Austin and Dallas shows over Memorial Day weekend. Solid show. Not a legendary one like Austin the previous night, but it had its moments. Happy to hear "Tighter and Tighter," "Fresh Tendrils" and "Kickstand" for the first time. "Beyond the Wheel" made a roaring return. Raymond Cameron did a nice job on "Eyelid's Mouth." Disappointed in the one-encore ending of "Slaves and Bulldozers," but it still clocked in at over 2 hours total. When they came out from the encore break and led with that, I knew that was it. Oh yeah--no "Spoonman" this night. Pretty rare not to get that one, no?

Place was packed again like Austin, but not nearly as rowdy. The dope smoke was far more intense than the other 4 shows I saw on this tour, so I guess that explains why. On my little excursion from Philly to catch this and Austin, I'd say Austin was the entree and this was the dessert.

Recording came out pretty well especially considering that I was farther back than I would have liked. Decent amount of punch to it.

I will not be posting a 16 bit version. Any of you are free to create one and do whatever you'd like with this recording since I can't stop you anyway. No need to ask permission.

Hello to anyone I happened to talk to in line or inside the venue.

FFP and shntool results included.
