Notes:

Here's a good one from "The Sound," Stan Getz. This set has appeared in many bootlegged forms, which average over $40 a pop on www.gemm.com. It normally has appeared with four tracks from 11/12/1956 featuring Miles Davis and, on two of them, Lester Young. I'll post this set shortly. The Getz show has historical significance because it represents the last recorded performance of the exceptional bassist Scot LaFaro, who died a couple of days later in an automobile accident. His playing here is outstanding. Finally, some convincing sources give the date of this show as July 2 rather than July 3, but because the latter is in more widespread use I have used it. You may certainly change the date if you like.

I like to check the integrity of files after I have downloaded them and find it tedious to have to make a new FFP file and compare it with the one provided. For people like me who share a combination of OCD tendencies and laziness, I have included an MD5 file so that you may immediately check the music files' integrity with one click.

Enjoy.
