Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble
McNichols Arena, Denver Colorado
November 29, 1989

Mix of multiple sources in attempt to represent complete show.

1) Westwood One radio broadcast as represented on "Last Farewell" (swinging pig) which is, in my opinion, the best sounding of the boot cds.
2) Texas Flood was taken from a torrent on dime of an alternate Westwood one boot
3) 2nd gen audience recording transferred for this torrent

Sound Samples provided. Sound is excellent for the CDR portions and VG for the audience tape.

At one point, years ago, I listened to all the sources from the WW1 boots and a first gen cassette of the Denver show (and a very poor recording of the Tingley Arena show, portions of which are on the W1 radio show [note that a much better recording surfaced years later]}. Using those cds and tapes I tried my best to identify which songs were from Tingley and which from Denver, then put them in order for my own listening pleasure on a cassette. Unfortunately, despite several searches, I cannot find the 1st gen cassette source for further comparison and now only have the compilation tape.
It is possible that I made errors in comparing these songs, although I listened to playing, not only the talking between songs to make my comparisons. It is difficult, as SRV actually says the same things from time to time on shows during this tour. It was pretty scripted. So, there may be errors. With the new Tingley source, I think it is possible that the first 3 or 4 songs are actually Tingley and not Denver, but, as I don't have the aud. tape of Denver now, I can't do another comparison so I included them here. I was convinced otherwise at one point in time, that's all I can say.

So here is the setlist. Unless Marked (aud), tracks are from boot cd

House is rockin
Tightrope
Look at little sister
Let me Love you baby
Texas Flood (intro cut)
Riviera Paradise
Wall of Denial
Superstition
Couldn't Stand the Weather (aud)
Life without you (aud)
Crossfire
Voodoo Chile (Slight return) aud
Goin' Down (encore w/ Jeff Beck) aud.

If anyone has the uncut version of Texas Flood, feel free to reup this torrent with the complete version and this one can be pulled. I won't be even slightly offended!
I just no longer have a CD copy of the show that has Texas Flood from the Broadcast. The Westwood One broadcast was too long for one cd, so bootleggers dropped one track, usually "Texas Flood" or "Leave My Little Girl Alone"
