Lineage:
Olympus LS-5 (internal mics, Linear PCM 48 kHz/24 bit) > Adobe Audition CS 5.5 (slight equalization and down-sampling) > xAct 2.39 (conversion to FLAC)

Info:
An incredibly loud performance, louder even than the 2012 concert in Patronaat, Haarlem. During the climax in 'Cloud Of Unknowing', there's one minute with some clipping. This was not a matter of setting the recording levels too high; the Olympus just could not cope with the volume. It's not too bad though and the rest of the recording is fine.

For some reason, the people behind the bar started storing empty glass bottles in crates during the slow-building intro of 'The Knot', which is audible. Worse is a nitwit that just could not stop talking to his friends, despite several people telling him to shut up. I'm afraid he's audible during the more quiet parts of the concerts if you're listening through headphones.

Finally, Michael Gira had problems with his monitor, which the sound engineer was unable to fix. In the end, 'Cloud Of Forgetting' was cut short and Gira angrily disappeared backstage. I don't know what happened to the poor bloke, but at least the problem was fixed. Unfortunately, we missed out on two songs that were performed the nights before and after in Brussels and Brighton respectively ('The World Looks Red' and 'The Man Who Refused to Be Unhappy'). Possibly this was the reason...
