Special guest Sydney Sierota of Echosmith performs w/ Taylor.

This was the 2nd of 2 straight nights in Columbus at Nationwide Arena. While I
did not attend night 1, its pretty safe to say night 2 was the better of the two.
Echosmith's Sydney Sierota guested on her song "Cool Kids" and the crowd went nuts.

I faced a dilemma deciding on going to this show. My girlfriend and I broke up
earlier this year and if I were to go to this, it would have to be alone. I
normally attend rock/classic rock/alt rock/singer songwriter shows, so a Taylor
Swift concert was not in my norm. However, "1989" is one of the greatest pop
records Ive ever heard and it has not left my head since it's release almost one
year ago.

So, I said fuck it - Im going and Im bringing mics with me and boy, am I glad I
did! I was refreshing Ticketmaster all spring and summer for a decent single
close to a speaker stack and pulled a single in 117 next to the main stage under
a side stack. Pulled the trigger and noticed the very next day, TM was not
allowing any sales besides resale, which were all twice face value. I think I
lucked out. Going into this show, I was scared the screaming would be out of
control and quite possibly ruin the recording. Because I was so close to the
speaker, the screaming is somewhat drowned out except for the few girls in my
immediate vicinity. The crowd was loud, very loud at times and you will hear it,
but, thankfully it was in the arena and not directly into my microphones.

On the show itself -- very impressive. Ive never seen someone command an arena
full of people the way Taylor does. She makes everyone feel special and creates
that deep connection with every person there by speaking to her fans directly
from her heart between songs. She also designed her set to reach all corners of
the arena so no one would feel left out. Her stage presence was awe inspiring
and shes come a long, long way from the country girl with her acoustic guitar.
This may be one of the best arena shows I have ever seen and Ive seen everyone
from Metallica to The Eagles to Fleetwood Mac to Aerosmith, to Billy Joel/Elton
John & the list goes on...

Warning: before getting down to this sick beat, please adjust your stereo system
accordingly. The 24BIT fileset is also available.

Thanks to Ryan Teske for the loaned mics.
