This is the first of five nights in LA. I was at the 2nd night (as was Bob Dylan) and I'm still looking for that tape. The opening night is interesting for Joe's disgust with the SoCal Hardcores. He starts blasting them in Clampdown for playing punk rocker and going backwards. Most of Armagideon Time has the words changed, first to attack the "idiots at the Palladium" and then for an ad lib spiel about rock history from Van Halen to Alice Cooper to Johnny Rotten (see samples below).
