Stereo AUD trade tape

Trade tape > Computer WAV > CDR > EAC v0.99 > Cool Edit Pro > TLH v2.4.1 > FLAC 8 > DIME > you
Big thanks to the original taper, and to the trader (K? G? double-S? I got these shows from a few sources) who hooked me up with a copy.
I originally mastered this 2001-08-17, and then remastered Disc2 2003-05-18 when I noticed I'd not trackmarked The Seven Ugly Cows & fixed that.
At any rate, the source WAVs are long since gone.

The input to this source came from the 2001/2003 final mastered CDR set, extracted via EAC / reports included.
I think the only thing I did orignally on the computer was place track marks before each piece.
This FLAC fileset comes from the EAC extracts, which did not originally need SBE corrections.
BUT 3 errors were reported - one literally at the end of disc 1 / it didn't hurt anything, and 2 others.
These other 2 were also at the end of their respective tracks, and the extract left a gap between those tracks & the ones following.
I tidied this up by editing the gap out + 10/1000's of a second of the clapping at the end of the 2 pieces reported in error - so small ya can't even tell.
And then before posting this, I re-SBE-fixed the tracks altered above, burned a fresh set & listened to 'em - sweet!

NOTES

Ok, so this is a set filled with Wormwood tracks, but it's NOT the same Wormwood set that toured the world (hope ya saw 'em).
This was the version they did BEFORE that tour, for a local San Francisco audience & a bunch of travel-enabled diehard fans.
(Remember, at the time it'd been almost 8 years since they last toured - who knew what was coming in '99?)
Mr. Skull's rap was a whole lot different, explaining what's going on more frequently.
The bulk of the songs are the same, but there's a few here that weren't retained for the world tour version (ex. - I Hate Heaven).
The touring version also included a handful of new-not-on-the-LP pieces that are not present here (ex. - 2 of the 4-part David suite were new).
Also Gamelan Sekar Jaya joined them onstage for the first part of Act Two, a highlight for me personally.
(I remember seeing pictures of this, quite a sight with some 15-20 performers all obscured by some kind of mask.)
And as a bonus, the encore songs were some old classics (not the world tour's Old Time Religion).

I know some fans hope and pray that a video of this version could be released some day.
Fow now, listen to this a few times & I bet you'll wanna count yourself among them.

So there's a bit'o'hiss, oh well; this is the best of the lot, matey, & once it gets going, that won't be foremost in your mind.
Musically, it's a fine performance, one that warrants the prayers.
I'm sure happy the tapers got it & shared it, so we can hear it now - say hallelujah!

- - - -

Crank it up and ENJOY! it as I have, and share it so others can hear it.

- - - -

Filenames have numbers on the end that are the TIMES (ex. - "...-359" is 3min59sec long).
One track has "EX" in the filename, because exclamation marks aren't allowed in filenames.

I mark the start of tracks when the music or count-in begins, not the talking about it before it starts.
