Tom Morello is the guitarist for Rage Against the Machine. The Nightwatchman is his solo folk protest singer effort.

The recording is pretty good, maybe a little on the boomy side but not too bad. The audience was one the better audiences I've been around in a long time. Hardly any talking during the songs, not too much wooting at quiet moments.

Boots Riley is a hip hop artist, or rapper, and I have to say, the combination of the rapping and Tom's guitar work in the folk song context really worked! It was awesome!
