I know this was on DIME back in the day, but this is a 'fresh' 2015 transfer that it getting around to seeing the 'remaster' treatment...as yes, it was that much fun.
An absolute off-the-hook show, t'was the only time that I ever felt the Egan Center floor "shake" from dancing. A near 2 hour fiesta of immense proportions, Gordon's brother actually lived/lives (?, it was 21 years ago) in Anchorage, and came out to play accordion on a song or two.
This show *does* have crowd noise, but it's more in one of those "enhances the party" type things vs. truly distracting, or, the music shines thru loud and clear.
He's not violent, nor is he feminine...but he does whip out the audio like it's going out of style. His name is Dennis, and you should be kind and thank him for his kindness, that being his time.
I'm happy to kiss off/fuck off/whatever insult you have handy...
