Outtakes 1976-1978 (pitch corrected).

Track list:

Small Change sessions
Wally Heider's Studio 3, Los Angeles, July 15, 1976

1. Stray Dog
2. What Else Is New?

Foreign Affair sessions
Filmways/Heider Recording, Los Angeles, July 26 - August 15, 1977 (#6 & 7 were recorded on August 2). During the Heartattack and Vine sessions in 1980, strings, chimes and percussion were overdubbed onto this version of Saving All My Love for You, while Tie Undone was re-recorded as Mr Henry

3. Just Another Dime Store Novel
4. Scarecrow
5. A Nickel's Worth of Dreams
6. Tie Undone
7. Playin' Hooky
8. Saving All My Love for You

Paradise Alley sessions
Probably recorded early 1978 (usually listed as September 7, but that can't be right as the movie was released that same month)

9. With a Suitcase (street band)
10. (Meet Me in) Paradise Alley
11. Annie's Back in Town
12. Bad Liver and a Broken Heart (re-make)
13. With a Suitcase (rhythm section)

Notes:

All the circulating Tom Waits outtakes from the '70s run way too fast. I pitch-corrected Saving All My Love to You to the overdubbed version on Heartattack and Vine (which seems to run at the correct speed) and it turned out to be 3.85% too fast. So I slowed down tracks 1-8 by 3.85% (tracks 9, 12, 13 are slowed down by 3.55%).

All tracks are taken from the Drunk on the Moon bootleg cd (Frontline FLCD 11), except for tracks 9-11 which are from the Tom Waits Fan FTP, if I remember correctly.
