Show notes: Arcade Fire probably won't play a venue this small again for a long time. Local band Sweet Bleeders opened the show, and played a well received set (I missed most of it because I went to a nearby pub for a beer). The show was quite crowded, but not sold out in avance. My friend Pete set up his taping gear near the back, just to the right of the sound board, perhaps 30 feet from the small stage. The gal running the soundboard (you'll hear the band thank her in between songs) encouraged Pete to record and share the show on the web. She said the band doesn't use a set list, but I noticed that the show was pretty much the same as the Minneapolis show from 9 days earlier. I scanned a flyer from the show and included it in the torrent. Great band....great show.

Tech notes: This probably should have been condensed to fit on a single CD. There's quite a bit of crowd noise and banter between songs, and band leader Wynn spent a lot of time tuning his guitar and changing strings. The acoustics in the tiny venue are less than ideal, but the sound of this recording is pretty good.
