BILLY BRAGG & The Red Stars - Berlin, Quasimodo, 1 October 1991

This is Billy Bragg's show at the Quasimodo Club in Berlin, Germany on 1 October 1991. It was the first-ever gig with his new backing band The Red Stars. The Quasimodo is a relatively small club with a capacity of around 350. The venue was packed and Billy and his band put on an excellent show. As usual expect some lengthy stories from Billy about politics, football etc.

I don't remember which recording gear I was using at that time, but probably an AIWA walkman with an external microphone. As far as I remember, I have not put this particular recording into circulation until now. The sound quality is surprisingly good. Please check the samples!

I am looking for recordings of the following Billy Bragg shows. Can anyone help? Thanks!!

BILLY BRAGG - Hamburg, Musikhalle, 14 March 1992
BILLY BRAGG - Hamburg, Docks, 15 March 1992
BILLY BRAGG - Hamburg, Grosse Freiheit 36, 26 March 1997
