::: Extremely fine stereo AUD. Check samples for decidin' or drooling.
::: Warts: Repaired dullspots & dropouts but surely missed a few. There's some annoying whistlin' but between songs & it's lowered here. Some applause in #36.
::: CONTRAST CLAUSE: This is the Mk2 44.1kHz/16bit version. The Mk1 96kHz/24-bit version version is available elsewhere.
::: Bonnie's in a great mood, playing her hometown, & invites a number of her friends to play.
::: Possibly a 2nd song missing here in 1st encore, judging by Bonnie's intro to "Love Has No Pride".
::: Roosevelt Sykes opened the show wwith a solo set, which was not on these tapes.
::: Gig review w/photo: www.bonnieraitt.eu/bonnie-raitt-and-friends-jam-at-orpheum
::: Bonnie says Jef Labes is "on loan", but from what band? He'd left Van Morrison. He played on her next 2 LPs.
::: Sippie's daughter Tammy Wallace is in house, but don't think she plays anything.
::: Joel Zoss, the Massachusetts musician who penned "Too Long At The Fair", is in the audience.
::: Bonnie, "I'll be 25 in a couple of weeks"(!). Sippie was about to turn 78.
::: Bonnie's latest album at this date was "Streetlights".
::: Tour continued: Wash,DC(10-22),PA State College(10-23),Burlington,VT(10-25).
::: Roosevelt Sykes, Sippie Wallace, Junior Wells & probably A.C. Reed also played with Raitt in D.C.
::: Recorded by legendary taper, Steve Hopkins, so many kudos to him. Hopin' for a master transfer someday, tho' this had a LOT of cleanup done to it.

DimeTravel 471 ::: Thanks to the original taper, Steve Hopkins, & traders CZ of Providence & Zongo (thanks for lending me your tape!). Since Zongo likes things hi-fi, I did both 24/96 & 44.1 versions of most all his tapes. Thanks to DIMER gv0000 for the research on this show & the tour. ::: Corrections welcome ::: Bonnie was certainly the bee's knees in this era - she had it ALL goin' on - guitar, vocals, charisma. This has long been a favorite Bonnie show for me, she's sparkling. Listen, enjoy, show appreciation, share, give, spread peace. Yrs truly, Knees
