The inaugural Blossom Bash featured Bush co-headlining with Third Eye Blind.
Bush was up first and played roughly 70 minutes. Their set was very high
energy and the crowd was fully into it the entire time. My only complaint
would be the nearly 10 minute "Little Things" where Gavin came into the
crowd and hugged everyone. Sure, while Im sure this was a thrill for a few
females in the crowd, we basically lost an extra song! Also, when you only
have 70 minutes, why bother with a cover? This band has 7 albums out! Not
to mention a huge single from 1996, "Swallowed" was skipped. Very odd for a
radio show. Those are minor gripes, this was really a great set well worth
the listen. I just wish both bands got longer on stage. 90/90 would have
been optimal.

The recording went well, the cardioids eliminated most singers near me
(thank god!) and the sound for 3EB's set was far better than Bush's. Not
sure whos to blame, perhaps Bush FOH? Regardless, still worth checking out!
