notes: Chan looked cool in black leather and the concert started very strong, but soon I felt that all songs got the same 'metal rock band' treatment, turning them into monotonous slabs of sound. They did not swing like they used to. Chan's 'antics' were limited to walking over to sound guy at the side of the stage about 10 times to discuss (god knows what). The guitarist pretented to be Rowland S. Howard (of Birthday Party fame), but only managed to butcher "Shivers". I've seen a few better Chan Marshall (solo) shows and many many worse, but I wasn't having a good time now. Most people were liking it though. Perhaps you, who were not there, will enjoy this recording anyway.
