Well Dime Members,
we thought we would cheer you up for the up coming holidays with another new round of "WILLIAM TELL EDITIONS".

This round of recordings will be as obscure and strange as the last round or so.
It may also unfortunately be the last round of of "WILLIAM TELL EDITIONS" we have to share.

Well see what surprises if any they have for US in 2018.

Till then......

Thanks to all of you who download these shows in the past and left "thanks" etc....
Thanks to "William Tell" and ALL his Swiss, German & Italian taper friends.

We would like to dedicate this on going series with no end insight, again to our original inspiration, "team lampinski".

We would also like to give special mention to "Zubbid" who's knowledge & help with the setlists, musicians line up, etc.. has been exceptional.

Once again i would like to ask those that still have such "treasures" tucked away,
to please consider sharing them the way these generous people have.
None of us are getting any younger and what good will any of your recordings be when you're DEAD!

So Ladies & Gentleman, Boys & Girls, Brothers & Sisters,
For your entertainment & "earjoyment"
I present to you;

Bio;

THE ACES was one of the earliest and most influential of the electric Chicago blues bands in the 1950s.
Led by the guitarist brothers Louis and Dave Myers, natives of Byhalia, Mississippi.
The brothers originally performed as the Little Boys.
With the addition of the harmonica player Junior Wells, they rechristened themselves the Three Deuces and then the Three Aces.
With the enlistment of the drummer Fred Below in 1950, they became the Four Aces and finally the Aces.
Influenced in large part by jazz, they developed an urbane, sophisticated style well ahead of its time; in particular, Below's refined rhythms led to the rise of the blues shuffle beat and helped launch the drums to a new prominence in blues bands.
During the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s the original Aces periodically reunited for recordings, tours, and festival gigs.~ wikipedi
