One more from a great musician and entertainer who's no longer among us.

Again, I have to rely on the extremely scarce details I got when I originally received this one in a trade long ago. I think I hear Clarence mentioning Denver as being his next gig the day after this.

If anyone can help giving this recording a definite date and venue I'd very much appreciate.

Anyway, this appears to be a soundboard recording, guitars and violin are very much upfront, Clarence's voice is a bit in the back alas. Most enjoyable listen anyway though.

Clarence Gatemouth Brown
Boulder 15 december 1979
venue unknown

He played more that one set that night apparently, here's the last one.

Sad to realize that I am re-descovering all of these recordings now that Clarence has gone. I am thouroghly enjoying every single one of them, he was such a great character and you could expect virtually any style from him!
If you've got more, don't be shy, bring them on!

Hope you enjoy this one in the meantime.
